New Delhi has good connectivity from major cities worldwide by air. It is the capital city of India and is one of the most visited tourist spot by travellers from all over the world.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
DIRECT INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS TO DELHI: Delhi is well connected to all major international airports in Asia, Europe and North America. All leading airlines operate direct and connecting flights from Delhi.

REACHING DELHI VIA OTHER MAJOR POINTS OF ENTRY
The airports at the all major metro cities of Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata are well-connected with international destinations, and offer convenient onward connections to Delhi. Both terminals (domestic & international) of the Delhi airport are disabled-friendly and are well connected to the city via Metro, Buses and Taxis(cabs). You can also book your airport transfer in advance with Conference Managers to avoid any inconvenience on your arrival.

DEPARTURE
For international flights, passengers are usually required to check in 3 Hrs prior to flight departure (2 Hrs for first or business class)

VISA
Foreign delegates visiting India require a valid visa to visit India. Details about VISA can be found here.

Tentative Timeline for VISA process
Step 1: Register by paying registration fee (before July 31, 2022).
Step 2: Conference Organizing Partner (Connextions Orbis Pvt. Ltd) shall communicate to the International Delegates immediately after successful conference registration and seek additional information (passport details, etc.) to apply for Conference VISA.
Step 3: Conference Organizing Partner shall send the list of International Delegates to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Govt. of India seeking approval on Aug 1, 2022.
Step 4: Conference Organizing Partner shall send Invitation Letter to the International Delegates along with Ministries Clearance Letters by August 20, 2022. The Delegates then have to apply for Conference VISA (category) in the Indian Embassy/Consulate in their country.

Participants are reminded that it is advisable to obtain travel insurance. Such insurance should cover payment for your medical care in the case of hospitalization as well as the cost of repatriation to your home country if that should become necessary. The Organizers do not take responsibility for any individual, medical, travel or personal insurance. Participants are advised to secure their own insurance policies as necessary.

TRANSPORT FROM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO VENUE

1. DELHI METRO : The Delhi Metro is a rapid transit system serving Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, and Ghaziabad in the National Capital Region of India. Delhi Metro is the world's 13th largest metro system in terms of length. Delhi Metro is India's first modern public transportation system, which has revolutionized travel by providing a fast, reliable, safe, and comfortable means of transport.
Click here to get your metro route from IGI Airport to Venue (Eros Hotel, Nehru Place). Conference Venue is very well connected with Metro Station with walking distance of 2 minutes, it is very easy to reach from any other local locations to Venue.

2. TAXI/CAB : The quickest way to get from Delhi Airport (DEL) to Nehru Place is to hire a taxi/cab which costs ₹400 - ₹700 and takes approx 35 minutes. Mobile apps based OLA and UBER are also commonly used in New Delhi for the commute within the city and a ride from the airport to the venue can also be planned.
